- Solving word problems using literal equations

Key- ^# means it is an exponent
#1) answer 2 . because you multiply the -6 and the 9 and get -54 and u add the exponents of the too a's and the b's
#2) answer 1 1.45*2.6 = 3.77, then add the exponents of the Xs and the Y
#3) answer a= 20.
4x*5x=ax^2
multiply the 4x and 5x and you get 20x^2. then you have to divide each side by x^2 and get a=20

first you multiply -7 by -7 and get 49. then multiply that by -3 and get -147
