Review sheet:
1. ) 5.25x + 200=800
subtract both sides by 200
5.25x=600 divide both sides by 5.25 and you get (2) 114

2.) 2c+c=561 3c=561 divide by 3 and get c=187

3.)$70= 30%n she is paying 70%
so multiply 70 * .70 and you get
(2) 100

4) $126 * n% = 10.71
you put n%/100 = 10.71/126
you have to cross multiply so you get 1071 =126n
divide by 126 and get 8.5

5) first you have to do $250 * .04 = 10 so the ticket including tax is 260. then you have to multiply 260 * .3= 78. then you have to subtract the 78 from 260 and you get (2) 182

6)n%/100= 36/30 then cross multiply and you get
3600=30n, divide by 30 and get
(4) 120%

7)let x +4= 1st integer
3x=2nd integer
x+3x+4<21
4x+4<21, subtract 4 from each side
4x< 17 divide each side by 4
x<4.25 , 3x+4<16.75

8) x=b,x+30=a,x+x+30=c
x+x+30+x+x+30=180
4x+60=180 subract both sides by 60
4x= 120 divide by 4
b=30
a= 60
c= 90

9) the answer is 15x. 3x divided by 20% is 15x

10) 3x-5=7
add +5 to both sides and then you get
3x=12 divide both sides by 3 and
x= 4
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
1)v=lwh
v= (2)(3)(4x)
v=24x
2) 4x>-8 divide each side by 4
x> -2
Graph # 3
3) 7c<=24.63 divide each side by 7
c= 3.51
choice (1) c<=3
4)5x+3>38 subract 3 from both sides
5x>35 divide by 5 x>7
x=8
5) a= length
a-4 = width
choice <1> 2a-8
6)subtract 2a^2-6a+5 from 3a^2-2a+3
choice <2> a^2+4a-2
7) 3x-6=2x+6 get the variables to one side
x=12
choice <3> 12
8)choice <3> 8b^3+6b-1
9) x+x+2+x+4
x+ 2(x+2)= x+4+12
3x+4=x+16 subract x from 3x and 4 from 16
2x=12 divide by 2
x=6
10)3x^2+5x-1 + x^2-2x-7 =
4x^2+3x -8
11) 3x-19=110
add 19 to both sides
3x=129 divide by 3
x=43
12) 6x-12-4x=16
2x-12=16 add 12 to each side
2x=28 divide by 2
x=14
13) 2/3x-3=5 add 3 to each side
2/3x=8 you multiply by the recipricle 3/2
x= 5 1/3
14)3x-1<8
add one
3x<9 divide by 3
x<3
The biggest whole # is 2
